"Excellent service"

About: Helston Community Hospital

On 14/7/19 I attended Helston Minor Injuries after being pulled over by my friends, very large labrador, sustaining an injury to my wrist.

I was seen quickly and the staff were efficient, caring and friendly.

I could not have wished for better treatment.

I also noticed how nice staff were to everyone who attended whilst I was there.

As there are no X Ray facilities at Helston, the nurse who assessed me referred me on to Penzance Hospital as she suspected a fracture.

she gave me advice and the HCA put a sling on my arm to make me more comfortable.

A friend drove me to Penzance and as soon as I presented myself there, the Receptionist knew immediately who I was.

Could not fault my treatment.

It would be a good idea to have X Ray facilities at Helston Minor Injuries Unit though.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are really pleased to hear that the treatment you received at Helston MIU was positive and will ensure it is shared with Matron who will cascade it to the relevant staff members. They will be delighted to receive it.
