"Excellent treatment"

I wanted to put on record my gratitude for the care I received when attending Kings Oak Hospital in April and June this year for two procedures for carpal tunnel decompression.

In particular I would like to thank one particular consultant for the wonderful repair work to both wrists. All symptoms have cleared and I now have full use of both hands; the improvement is beyond my most optimistic expectations.

I had been referred to one particular consultant by my GP earlier in the year to discuss treatment and he took me through the options explaining what was involved and listing the risks. I particularly appreciated his open and honest manner which enabled me to decide to have the decompression work done.

Both surgery visits were pain-free, fast, and comfortable. The recovery was speedy. The follow up consultations reassuring and helpful. I felt as though this consultant took a real interest in me as a patient throughout.

The nursing staff, too, were wonderful. Could you please pass on my thanks to all concerned.
