I visited the centre with my son, for the second time this week, and was so please that you are there.

On Saturday, my son was Jaundiced, and I received excellent advise and sent to A&E to received further advice.

The nurse on duty (unfortunately I didn't catch her name) was very kind, and informative, and she supplied a letter giving the details of our visit and the outcomes of the tests she had done, (urine, blood pressure etc) and this made things so much easier when we got to Queen's hospital, as I was able to hand this over, and it stopped a lot of the questions being repeated.

My son was discharged on Tuesday, but then had further problems with his throat and ear, so I brought him back to the centre on Friday morning and we saw the doctor, who was amazing.

He spoke directly to my son (who is 17) and his manor was relaxed but very professional, and he explained everything to both of us, and answered all our questions, without making us feel like we were being rushed along. I would love to have the doctor as my GP.

We then went for a blood text and Kerry was so kind and considerate, as my son had bruised arms from having so many blood texts done at the beginning of the week.

She used a fine needle used for children, and this did not jolt my son's arm when the bottles were changed.

I just want to thank you so much for the wonderful job you do, and the service that you supply.

I have used the centre quite a few times over the years, and have always received such reassurance and good advice, and I only wish there were more centres like this one around the county.

We always appreciate patients who take the trouble to post their experiences whether negative or positive ( although obviously prefer the latter) as they are all learning tools for our teams.
