"Thank you to all the team at A&E"

I would like to say an enormous thank you to all the staff we met during our A&E visit yesterday.  I dropped a heavy pack of floorboards on my son's fingers and each and every staff member we encountered could not have been kinder or more caring.

Thankfully I've only had to visit A&E 3 times during the span of my children's lifetimes (nearly 9 years) but, each and every time, we have received the same outstanding standard of care. I'm embarrassed that it's only now that I'm writing this feedback.  The staff do a tremendous job, frequently in a very high pressure environment but they always interact in a caring and dignified manner.  How lucky we are to have such a wonderful A&E department in the Borders.  Too often you read of long waiting times and we are very grateful that we have never had that experience.  Thank you to all the team at A&E; you are marvellous and very much appreciated.
