"Difficult to get Consistent Care"

Despite being referred to the local hospital for further tests and treatment it has proven easier to see the same consultants and therapists in the Royal than the referring GP in this practice. Their appointment system is flawed and it’s a ‘lottery’ which gives no continuity of care/relationship with any particular GP. Surely it should should be possible, given a willingness on my part to attend at any time over the next two weeks, to see my ‘referring doctor’. Sadly not! We are expected to see the next doctor who ‘comes along’ and instantly ‘ relate’ to them.....
