"Cleft Lip & Palate Support"

About: Royal Hospital for Children and Young People (Edinburgh) / Paediatric surgery

(as a service user),

I am feeling a little concerned. My daughter turned 18 recently and we were told near to her 18th birthday she would be contacted regarding the next stage of her care. We have heard nothing from the Cleft team, I am calling the Sick Kids on a daily basis and asking to speak to a Cleft nurse to be told that there is no answer on the line.

I would like to know who I am able to contact and the best time to do this, I am not sure if the move to Glasgow has stopped the contact or because my daughter is now 18 she has been forgotten about.

Feeling very disappointed :(
