"Attended as emergency"

I have been attending the Treatment centre for 9 years and my eye consultant advised I could be seen at my local community hospital on my next appointment...Unfortunately on this occasion it was found in had a tear in my retina of my good eye ! I was devastated and very frightened. My consultant advised that this needed laser repair as soon as possible as it could detach..On investigation there were no clinics until the Monday 4 days later !! My consultant was not happy with this so had a room prepared and did this herself at Burton within 4 hours of my initial appointment..I and my family be eternally grateful to her as she fixed everything so quickly with no problem..Sadly she is retiring soon but hopefully will be replaced by someone with as much passion for their trade as she has..
