"Gynae surgery/laparotomy"

I was looked after from start to finish. The anaesthetist saw that I was anxious and took the time to explain things to me in a really kind and considered manner. All of the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful and compassionate. I was looked after on Branston Ward where all of the nurses were amazing. I didn’t feel well after anaesthetic but   nothing was too much trouble and I felt in good hands.   I was terrified of having an operation and being in hospital but came out of it with a really positive experience. I would like to thank everyone who looked after me from my consultant to the nurses, catering staff and porters.
