"listens to me"

About: WestMARC (West of Scotland Mobility and Rehabilitation Centre)

(as the patient),

I recently had to have my wheelchair serviced and I wanted to tell you about Allen, this man has come out 2 or 3 times to fix different repairs. I appreciate the time he takes to listen to me and the problem with my chair as my chair is an important part of my daily life. He listens to the problem and then explains what he has to do and why before he fixes the problem which I appreciate. Wanted to thank him and to say I hope we continue to have this nice working relationship.

Dear centaurusky36,

Thank you very much for sharing your story on Care Opinion. I am so pleased to read about the way in which Allen listens to understand what your needs are in order to support the use of your wheelchair minimising any impact on your daily life.

I will make sure that I pass on your feedback to Allens Line manager who will delighted to read your comments about his clear communication. I will also ensure that I pass on your story to Allen who will be over the moon.

Kind Regards

Heather Richardson
