As a sufferer of chronic health problems, I have been exposed to numerous parts of the NHS. I felt I should write my first review on this clinic, as the service has been amazing. It should be a real example for other NHS clinics on how efficiently a clinic can be run despite the issues of resources. The clinicians and nurses are well informed and passionate about their specialty. The reception is well organised, and free of the uncessary bureacrcy and "sorry sir, I can't do that, the computer system says X" responses seen at other NHS reception desks. Easy to get an appointment, no significant waiting times. Please pass on my comments to all the team. Two suggestions for the clinic: 1) take bloods in the clinic (the blood testing in outpatients can be very slow) 2) Have a stock of TB medications in the clinic to dispense directly, the hospital pharmacy is so slow, with waiting times often of an hour. Thanks again :)
"TB clinic, amazing service - a real rare gem"
