Due to a change in personal circumstances at home, my mental health went on a downward slope - mainly my anxiety which is concerningly high and has been for 2 weeks now. After attending a session with my CPN, we agreed on the best coarse of action. I won't go into the ins and outs of it all but it involved upping/relooking at my medication. I feel the Psychiatrist is clearly not understanding the urgency and scope of this at the moment and has sent my GP a prescription for a medication that won't be ready until tomorrow afternoon and that I already take.
I haven't had to stop myself from self-harming to feel better, and calm myself down in a long time. This is people's life's we are talking about here, this is my life we are talking about. As I've sat here on the bathroom floor for 55 minutes writing this, with great difficulty may I add, I am still no closer to having a resolution or help and this began on Monday. 4 days ago.
I feel there has been a lack of effective communication between staff to ensure my mental health was monitored and treated properly and quickly given the circumstances. .
