"Arthroscopy of hip"

A very positive experience. I attended for hip arthroscopy on 3/07/19. I was very anxious as I’ve not undertaken a major operation before and felt a bit of a wuss. I needn’t have worried as I was put at ease immediately. All the staff, from the tea lady to the consultant were welcoming, personable , friendly, attentive, informative and very professional. The staff are so helpful and caring. Nothing is too much trouble and they all work so well together. There is no whispering in corners or cleaning lady sulking over a mop. All the staff, from top to bottom are positive, smiley, at the top of their game, hardworking and work well together as a team. I felt incredibly well cared for and informed and can’t thank everyone enough for looking after me. This may sound ridiculous but the lovely fresh smell of the nurses starting their shift was a joy. These people respect themselves and therefore you know they respect you. Unable to comment on the food as was only in over night but it smelled delicious when served to my roomies. Thank you Care UK and the Barlborough team. The nursing staff in my opinion, were like nurses were ‘ back in the day ‘ . You felt really cared for and they were so attentive and hardworking. Would highly recommend.
