Since going to the coffee mornings run by the Neurological Rehabilitation Service at the Edgeware Community Hospital I have learned a lot more about MS from restless legs to how to block pain pathways.
Bhavani who runs the coffee morning is very very good, she is informative and encouraging. The coffee mornings gave you a chance to talk to other people who also have MS and share experiences. I was diagnosed 36 years ago, but have learned so much about it in the last few months.
Bhavani and her team have been so helpful in getting some vital aids at home, I was finding it very difficult to get in and out of bed and to feel comfortable. Within 3 days of mentioning this to Bhavani I had a new electronic adjustable bed which has made things much easier for me.
I am so grateful for this service and to Bhavani and her team.
