"Being given the run arround"

About: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital / Rheumatology

(as the patient),

After more than a year of being referred for an appointment to the QEQM. I finally got a letter from them. It was a letter telling me I had not been to an appointment. That would be the appointment I was still waiting to get. Sadly this is my usual experience with the NHS. If I am willing to start dialling over and over again at exactly 8am, I can get a GP appointment booked by 8: 45pm. Unless it is busy, then I have to try again tomorrow. Sadly, no matter how many referrals I get from my GP, they always come to nothing but a long wait ending with a letter complaining that I did not attend my appointment because, apparently, I am not psychic. Who could have guessed?
