On the evening of a Friday in June I was rushed to BSE. A\E. with a very bad gut pain that had been with me for a couple of days. Whilst there I had various tests done, X ray blood tests a cannula fitted an ECG and various other things. whilst waiting for the x-ray results the doctor did a scan of my body and found an aortic aneurysm that was 7. 5 centimetres. without more ado I was whisked over to Addenbrokes where on wed. the Tuesday I had keyhole surgery to rectify this terrible problem that would not have been found had it not been for the diligent and first class work from the doctor at Bury hospital that Friday early Saturday morning. I must therefore say a heartfelt thanks to the doctor on that particular day also to all the staff who were present at the time, a brilliant job very well done.....I will be over to the hospital at the end of July for a check up so hope to call in and say thank you once again ......
"A heartfelt thanks to the doctor and to all the staff"
