(as the patient),

Came to a and e after a 6ft ladder collapsed under me. I was in agony. The dr said yes youve cracked your ribs and sent me home. I rang gp 2 days later and they couldnt believe they hadnt x ray. Then I found out they dont x ray anymore.   I was black and blue from the soles of my feet to my shoulders it would have been less stressful to know if there has been any internal damage.   I find it ridiculous. Is this another cut back not to x ray for ribs?
