"My heartfelt thanks"

About: Victoria Hospital / Accident & Emergency Victoria Hospital / Medical High Dependency Victoria Hospital / Respiratory Medicine

(as the patient),

I was recently taken in as a medical emergency having had my lungs affected by vapourized curry powder which had a seriously adverse effect on me. The ambulance was prompt and delivered me to the A&E at the Vic.  I was then dispatched to the Medical High Dependency Ward. When I had stabilized, I was delivered to Ward 43. All my treatment was excellent and the staff throughout my stay were superb. My heartfelt thanks go them all.

Apart from the above, I was diagnosed with prostrate cancer 4 years ago and following comprehensive treatment, I have been given the all-clear for 2 years now. I am profoundly grateful to NHS Scotland for frankly having saved my life.

I cannot praise the NHS too highly and I am convinced that our medical care is the envy of the world.
