"The programme really helped"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Adult Critical Care Unit (ACCU) University Hospital Wishaw / Stroke Unit (Ward 11)

(as the patient),

I was taken into hospital in November not that I remember much about being taken in,   I came to five days later in ICU not knowing what happened to me, but the diary that the staff and friends and family made for me was very helpful.

The staff were all amazing and went above and beyond there job. ICU was in Wishaw General hospital, when I went back to visit kept saying that it was just there job but in my family, friends and myself think that every member of staff were totally amazing and the care was out of this world if it was not for them I would not be here to tell the story.

The staff also recommended that I went to the Inspire program when the funding was received and I am so glad that I did as this helped me to understand better what I went through and to meet other people that went through the same situation as I went through really helped in my recovery.

The staff on the program were so helpful so friendly and so approachable and helped answer a lot of questions that I had and helped me to move forward in my recovery and to get back to normal. Without this program I do not think That I would be back to normal and able to move on with my life, I think that if anyone has the chance to go to this type of program should go as it really helped.

Dear Nabrains,

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such positive feedback. I am delighted that you are doing well and that the In:Spire program has supported you in your recovery.

I will pass on your feedback to the staff in ACCU and also the In:Spire team. I hope you continue to recover well.

Grateful thanks again for your feedback.

Regards

Audrey

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for your kind words, the nine days I was in before the ward the staff were amazing and the Inspire team were so helpful and I don't think I would have recovered if it was not for both teams and words can not explain how grateful I am to both teams.
