"Thank you for the amazing compassion"

I wanted to provide feedback on the team working in Eliot Ward during spring 2019.

My Father was always well looked after whenever he was in the care of Northwick Park Hospital.   His week long stay in April 2019 was no exception. 

Sadly he was passed away whilst in your wonderful care and I wanted to feedback and say thank you for the amazing compassion of staff nurse Alex who attended to my distraught Mother when she arrived at the ward.  I arrived shortly afterwards and Alex (and another nurse called David were always on hand) giving us time to grieve as a family and spend time with my Dad.  We must have stayed by his bedside for 6 hours.

All the staff of Eliot ward were caring and amazing in any interaction and we particularly wanted to highlight Alex who just seemed to know what to do and what to say.  He is a credit to the hospital.
