I was referred to Nuffield by NHS for a total hip replacement.
The pre-op assessment was thorough and efficient, the staff very pleasant.
I was given a date for the operation well within the required time.
Soon after I received a phone call, telling me that I may have an anamoly in my blood test, and that I should go to my G.P. Which I did. And got it sorted. And I never heard anything more from Nuffield until I arrived for my operation, to be told by reception that it had been cancelled, and that I should have been sent a letter. Which I hadn't been.
The lady on reception was very apologetic, but it wasn't her fault.
There was a very bad breakdown in communications somewhere, and it's a shame, because I've been treated here before, and everything was lovely.
