I visited today with my daughter who had sustained a nasty knee injury having fallen at school.
She was upset in pain and distressed. Every member of staff we met were wonderful and put her at ease helping to calm her and I. Perhaps the medication helped her a little more than I would have thought, so a big thank you for putting up with her strange behaviour.
As a frequent visitor (I have 3 children) I know how frustrating it can feel if people appear to be pushed ahead, my appreciation and understanding of why this happens has improved , she did need immediate treatment and that is exactly what she got. From the security guard who ran to get me a wheelchair (sorry if I ran off) , to the doctors nurses and reception staff, we could not have received a better service! I left today smiling as did my daughter because of the care and dignity shown to her. I can't say a big enough thank you!
