"Prescription not actioned"

About: St Ann's Medical Centre

(as a relative),

My brother suffers from leaning disability and Parkinsons. My brother, or I his sister, take him to his appt.

This has happened several times, where we order his tablets at his appointment on this occasion in the middle of last week and when I got to the chemist - which is next to our GP surgery - this week, no prescription was ordered.

When I spoke to receptionist it was stated nothing been ordered.

I said my brother has appt with b12 injection which your staff booked and he ordered his tablets on same day.

The reason we didn’t pick them up was due his appt and after explaining thats their error they managed get him the injection and nurse agreed to see him in the early afternoon. I now still need go back after 4pm to get his other tablets.

I don’t see why I should waste my time when I already care for my mum to visit my GP again. And they have this parking issue where you can’t go back on same day it’s a bloody joke.

We are trying to get my brother to live independently but it’s hard, and I feel they basically wouldn’t have done what they did if I was not with him.

He gets upset and then he doesn’t want to cause a fuss but he doesn’t understand it’s not his fault.

I think their staff especially new ones need to tell us if there’s any delay as I could have taken him later but they didn’t seem to know what was going on.

My brother has mental health issues.
