"Urgent Care Patronising staff"

About: Chorley & South Ribble Hospital / Accident and emergency

The worse experience I have ever had from a healthcare centre. I attended the centre to be told that my appointment time wouldn’t be on time because they only have one doctor on. The waiting room was full and so was the kids area taken over by adults. The triage nurse was rude, patronising and clearly way out of her depth. She has no customer care skills and thinks she’s something she isn’t. She is rude! I walked in feeling ill but had to walk out before I became anymore Ill. I will have to suffer till I see my own GP.

We are sorry to hear about this.

Our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) will be able to provide you with the necessary contact information for taking forward a concern with the Urgent Care Centre.

The UCC at Chorley and Preston Hospitals are independently run but our PALS can explain this to you and provide you with the necessary contact information.

PALS are open Monday - Friday, 9 - 4pm excluding bank holidays.
