"My Angiogram experience"

About: Wycombe Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I arrived promptly at 07:30 and was allocated a day bed and briefed as to what was going to happen.

My first impression was a of a clean ward and there was a caring atmosphere.

The staff were friendly and efficient and updated us regularly as to what was going on.

They tell you to bring a book or a newspaper and that was a good bit of advice because, due to being 'bumped' by an emergency inbound patient (which I didn't mind, I didn't have the procedure until lunchtime.

Afterwards, I was immediately attended to with smiles and reassurances and a cup of tea and a sandwich.

The consultant came to see me briefly as I requested clarification on one of the drugs he had recommended..

I simply couldn't have asked for more. I want to thank Rani and Rebecca for their positive attitude.
