I attend Clinton surgery evey week for nephrostomy dressing changes. The receptionist is invariably polite and helpful and the waiting area pleasant and quiet. The nurses are very professional and efficient .... particularly one lady who I see most weeks .....she is always cheerful, and the dressings are always comfortable when she has applied them.
When I attend the Deeping surgery, the ambience is unfortunately entirely different.
It is busy, noisy, the waiting (possibly for unavoidable reasons) seems interminable, and the receptionists are hard pressed to the extent that they can be brusque.
The Deeping Dispensary has been a cause of constant annoyance in the past, so we've nominated a local pharmacy to avoid having to go there.
The contrast is amazing !
The local Pharmacy treats us as valued customers, rather than patients who can be herded and kept waiting for ages, only to be eventually told that drugs aren't ready, or aren't in stock. Doctors at both locations are polite, professional, and helpful, although sometimes noticeable pressed for time.
