"Painful Gallstones"

About: Heartlands Hospital / Hepatology

(as the patient),

Having being diagnosed about eight weeks ago. I was told it would be about 11 weeks. I received a appointment to see a consultant surgeon who told me what I already knew that I had gallstones. he then went on to say it would be 3 to 9 months before I could have the operation as I am in constant pain this did not help at all. as it is only a day procedure why do I have to wait so long? ? ? ?
