"Improved quality of life"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Trauma & orthopaedics (wards 26, 27, 61 & 62 )

(as the patient),

Nine months on following my knee replacement, I want to take the opportunity to sincerely thank Mr Blythe and his wonderful team for so improving my quality of life. My experience of clinics, theatre, and the ward was exceptional. Every member of staff Involved in my care made me feel recognised and valued as an individual. I experienced true person centred care where the focus was on achieving the best outcome for me. Special thanks to the physios who really encouraged me and gave me confidence, and the nurses in theatre who dealt so well with my pre op anxiety, I felt so safe in their care. and of course, Mr Blythe who has done a fantastic job.
