Having had polio as a child, and recently treated for Breast Cancer, I have ended up with 14 different conditions.
Where I lived before my polio consultant arranged for me to have weekly hydrotherapy. Other Consultants agreed it was best way for me to keep mobile.
The NOC has one of the best hydro pools in UK;
I asked for weekly sessions - but had a few and now told no more, and my mobility is decreasing.
Apparently, I am not the only one who wants hydrotherapy, but we are told once we have had preliminary sessions that's that.
We are expected to go off to public pools.
But these are kept at a far lower temperature, and my muscles would just seize up - I have tried but can't tolerate low temperatures.
Please can we be given the same access, if we need it, to regular weekly hydro sessions.
