I visited the emergency eye clinic in June 2019.
After waiting over 2 hours I was eventually seen by a clincian who did a pressure check. Was told that the pressure was raised in my right eye, which was strange as the problem I had was with my left eye. Was then sent back to the waiting area to wait again to be seen by a doctor.
After a further half an hour was seen by another clinician who made no mention of the raised pressure in my eye. I have a history of uveitis in my left eye, the last episode being 5 years ago, but the clinician didnt seem to listen to what I was saying & did not have my notes which would have given the information. He just dismissed me & said it was a viral infection. After having the same symptoms before I now expect to have to seek further advice as I know these symptoms will not resolve themselves. Overall, not a good experience, after a very long wait, I felt quite upset when I left.
"Very Disappointing"
