"An absolute credit to the NHS"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Critical Care Unit (ICU/HDU)

(as a service user),

My whole experience in the HDU was extremely comfortable from admittance.

The nurses, doctors, and consultants were going above and beyond to make me comfortable, explain all procedures, and worries I might have had were dealt with straight away.Nothing was too much for the nurses, they made sure I didn't need anything, they made me feel relaxed and cared for, and cheered me up. They made my stay much more bearable. An absolute credit to the NHS.

Dear alphapm38

Thank you for getting in touch about your experience in HDU.

Being in hospital can be a worrying and frightening time so it’s lovely to read about the care and support you received from the staff. We really appreciate your feedback and it is nice when we can share such positive feedback with the staff.

Good luck with your recovery.

Kind Regards

Nicole
