"Like a little family"

About: HMP Lowdham Grange

(as a service user),

Hi. I would like to tell you about my journey.

I have been a drug user for many years but fed up with it, I decided to make a chance for myself, and I got myself on a programme called the START Program, it was a very good course, drug users of all kinds also joined, it was a 3 month course, intense as you would have to open up, be honest with yourself.

The course dealt with all different things, Anxiety, Relapse prevention, coping strategies and many other tools to help you, it has given me back my life, I had great teachers, nurses, mentors, like a little family, who was there to help you, it has given me back my life, I had great teachers, Nurses, mentors, like a little family, who was there to help you.

The course for me was very successful, I found it, that if you put the effort in to change And Learn it was there for you, I recommend it to anyone with a drug history life!!
Set yourself free, Thank you

I can tell how much the course has meant to you and all the benefits for you.

I do know the team At Lowdham will be very please to read this posting. The START Program sounds very interesting and it is good to see that it has helped you so much with Anxiety, Relapse prevention, coping strategies and many other tools to help you, have such good teachers, nurses, and mentors seems to have made all the difference and of course you deciding to make a chance for yourself is key.

Well done to All

Thank you for this post. It's very encouraging to read about the progress you have been able to make. People often underestimate just how tough group work like this can be. As you say, it was an intense experience. I am sure that you had to deal with big issues. It is very inspiring for us to have your feedback.

Best wishes

Peter
