Attended A&E having injured myself in February. Waited the obligatory 3 hours to see a doctor. Another hour for an x-ray. 1 hour for confirmation...... to be referred for further assessment and examination. Ok so far .... but only just.
Weeks were allowed to pass ... 2 for assessment 4 to get MRI 2 more to chase the results myself and then over 2 weeks suggested before getting to see the consultant and obtain the diagnosis.
Useless to me, unable to use my right arm properly and only moderate self healing of the injury occurring in that time. Having requested an alternative consultant the process did pick up but still 3 weeks or so before we get to surgical repair.If they couldn't do a proper job I would have preferred that they just said so at the outset.
Still can't drive for at least another 6 weeks from now.
