About: County Hospital Louth / General surgery

(as the patient),

Day care surgery. A short visit to what I thought was going to be a run down, outdated NHS outpost that might disappear before too long.

External appearances are entirely deceptive here to the point where I am compelled to write in full support of the staff and treatment that I experienced whilst there. 

More investment on the property would perhaps bring things in line with expectations in the private sector but the staff at all levels were exemplary by any measure. Diligent, capable and helpful.

Thank you sharing your kind word about Fotherby ward at Louth and they were thrilled to read your story.

You story fits so well with the old saying about not judging a book by its cover and our staff who work on the site are an amazing bunch of professionals. Unfortunately the trust does not own Louth Hospital and the site is run and maintained by NHS Properties.
