"Visit to A&E"

About: Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital / Accident and emergency

At approximately 8.30 on the evening of Friday the 31st of May i visited A&E with an uncontrollable bleed from a ripped off skin tag on my neck. The bleed had started at home in Walmer at around 7pm and direct pressure and dressings had not controlled it. As soon as I was booked in I was seen and the care started. the bleed was quite strong and was not stopped until 11.30 pm.During my time in A&E i was seen by several members of staff and all were outstanding as was the care I received. At 72 years of age this was only the second time I had visited and A&E and in truth have been educated as to what to expect by press reports etc. Such led me to believe that things would be "not good". Far far from the truth. The care I received from all staff from reception to the medical team was outstanding and I cannot praise them high enough. Thanks you.
