"Emergency help needed"

About: Manchester Royal Eye Hospital / Ophthalmology

I had been troubled by grit in my eye since 5am and in Manchester for a conference became apprehensive as I realised things were not improving.

I took myself to the Eye hospital emergency department where Triage put me out of my misery with numbing eye drops before I was seen by the Nurse Practitioner.

Under a microscope the offending foreign body was identified and removed.

Such relief!

This nurse was so positive and reassuring.

I left with some eye drops and attended my conference successfully.

My grateful thanks to the Nurse, Triage and Reception - you are all so kind.
