"Late appointment"

It is so hard to book or get the appointment at this surgery, limited times I can actually call through because of nature or my work. I booked an appointment online , I kept receiving messages as reminders and considering it was the first appointment in the morning the Dr was running 25 minis late which means I had to be late for work. They ok to keep reminiscing us not to be late but had no apologies or updates as to why they are late. We all lead busy lives and considering it is so hard to even get an appointment that is flexible with our working schedules it is unacceptable to be called in late for the appoitment as it is first one in the morning ! Not the first time that out has happened at this surgery.

I am sorry that your visit to the Practice caused you to be late for work. Your complaint was discussed with the doctor concerned and he apologises again for being late calling you in to see him. As a very busy surgery there are times when doctors have to wait to enter a clinical room after another clinician has been using it. On a Wednesday Morning there are some clinicians that have an early morning surgery from 7.00am and if this is slightly delayed it can have a knock on effect.

If you are struggling with work commitments may I suggest that, if you would like to book an appointment in advance, that there are surgeries on

Monday late evening, Wednesday early morning and we do hold Surgeries, currently one weekend a month.
