As someone who was funding private treatment myself I am disgusted with this hospital. They clearly are used to people who have health insurance and don’t have to worry about customer service as their income is guaranteed. To begin with there is not enough parking so getting into your appointment is a nightmare. The waiting area does not have enough seats so I was left standing for 35 minutes as my appointment was 30 minutes late. The staff weren’t bothered about this at all and I didn’t receive an apology from anyone. The appointment itself was a waste of time. The consultant couldn’t have cared less about me (a paying client!). I was given no information and repeated glared at and no effort was made to preserve my dignity or treat me as a human being. I came out of the appointment with no information and feeling violated and distressed and then I was sent an invoice for £150 for the experience. DO NOT use this hospital. This behaviour should not be encouraged.
