"Excellent and efficient care"

From start to finish the care I received was excellent. The ward was light & sort with a lovely view of a cricket pitch where I was able to watch people walking their dogs - which helped to calm my nerves. The nursing staff were readily available but didn't pester you. I was visited by a phlebotomist, registrar, aneasthetist and my consultant before the procedure - all were friendly & professional, they answered all of the questions I had with patience & understanding. I felt very safe in their hands. The theatre staff were also great & chatted to me while I was being prepared for theatre. On waking up my pain was dealt with promptly and I was taken back to the ward. I feel that I was looked after really well back on the ward and I was not rushed into a day room while I waited for my lift home, I was left to chill out in the ward. I'd like to express my wholehearted thanks to everyone who was involved in my care.
