"Very poor service"

About: Preston Road Surgery

I have been ill for 20 days now and everytime I called in the morning they had no appointments. Asked to give them a call back every afternoon and even then no answer at all. They are closed in the afternoon from 1-3pm. When I called at 3pm the line was dead and I called 20times and no answer. I got an appointment after chasing them nd even then the doctor only took an minute to see me. I am suffering from really bad sinusitis. I told the doctor what I was suffering from the pain I have been having. I was advice to go to dentist and optician. I asked her could I be suffering from sinusitis and she said I could be and just gave antibiotics. I didn’t find her helpful at all.

We are sorry to learn that you felt your care was not helpful at all. We have provisions in place to offer emergency appointments if required. Patients can also have online access to make appointments. Please speak to reception if you wish to sign up to the online appointment service.

More recently we have also started - e-consultation - which will make things much easier for you to seek medical advice.

We have discussed your comments with the whole staff and we will all ensure to make your next visit to the practice a positive one.
