"The whole thing was a breeze"

My son underwent a paediatric surgical procedure at the GNCH, Newcastle in mid May 2019. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Lall and the team. My son is 7 years old and he was made so comfortable and prepared so well for the procedure and this positive experience I feel has reduced the pain and morbidity associated with the procedure. The Paediatric Day Case - Ward 8B - are so welcoming and Yvette is a fantastic nurse. She loves her job and has vast amounts of experience. She doesn't work on auto-pilot mode and has a unique approach to every child. She made my son so comfortable and he settled in very nicely in the Anaesthetic room, thanks to the pre-op preparation by Yvette. I immensely appreciate her help and I am sure she will go a long way. Dr. Ireland, the paediatric Anaesthetist made the whole thing a breeze and my son has told his whole class about the vanilla cream on his hands and ice cream up his arm he beeps at count of 3 every time his friends ask about his magician. Mr. Lall's expertise is unmatched and the post recovery was smooth. Many Thanks
