"waited for 2 hours for drugs from dispensary again"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Pharmacy and Medications

(as the patient),

my appointment was for 08: 30 hrs, the nurse who you could not fault as always the nurses are amazing, informed me I could be cannulated but the drugs were not there yet,   Again another nurse went to dispensary to collect drugs to be told again they were in the MDU.   3 nurses again checked fridge nothing.   After many people going to dispensary they found them after we had been sat there cannulated for two hours.   This seems to happen every month.   Feel for the nurses they are so sorry but is is not their fault

Dear HJB

I am really sorry that this has happened, unfortunately we do some times have long waits for medication to be dispensed.

We try to be as proactive as we can, by collecting medication the day before.

Once again our sincere apologies
