"Poor service"

About: Thurmaston Health Centre

Rang at 8.30am to get an appointment for my 9 year old daughter to be told there was none left and they could fit me into the nearest walkin centre at HINCKLEY!! when i don't drive and am not exactly gonna catch 2 buses or get taxi there for them to see my daughter!! Yes i could take her some where more local, this came from the receptionist!! After saying that i couldn't get there and was told to call back at 8am the following morning,which wpuld of meant leaving my daughter to go another day poorly!! I insisted that i was to been by a doctor that day! To be told the doctor will ring you still had no call from doctor so when i call back to find out why? Was told oh they couldn't get through. So why didnt that doctor try and call me again or the receptionist for that matter??!! I was then told that doctor has gone and will now have to wait till 4.30pm for another doctor to call me back!! What an absolute poor shambles of a service a serivce that i hardly ever use but yet when i come to use it they can't offer me the service that was needed! Absolute joke!! Never had this problem before it was taken over was always seen to straight away when ever its been a child that has needed to been too!! Place has gone down hill and i will be moving surgeries after this.......
