"Complete lack of care or compassion"

About: Tasburgh Lodge Surgery

Received a call back from a doctor today after requesting some help with feeding my prematurely born baby. The doctor was incredibly dismissive of our issues and lectured me on the litigation culture which meant that anything he prescribed would have to be taken at our own risk, indeed he offered to prescribe a medication that he did not recommend. When I questioned why he would do this he became very agitated and defensive. Following the birth of my child we received excellent care during the two weeks we were in hospital, now that we are at home it is worrying that our GP is unable to further offer any level of care and support.

Thank you for contacting us via this forum.

We would very much welcome the opportunity to speak with you to address your concerns, but as you can appreciate we are unable to respond in detail via such a forum due to patient anonymity and data protection.

We would like to emphasise that we are always happy to discuss any areas of dissatisfaction with any of our patients.

If you would kindly contact the surgery and ask to speak to the Practice Manager we could make an appointment to meet and discuss the issues you have raised.

We look forward to hearing from you.
