About: Countess Of Chester Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a service user),

I've had to get a blood test asap and my GP suggested that I go to A& E. I was told there that they only take blood until 5 pm and it was already after 6 pm. However one lady asked a phlebotomy nurse if he would do it. His name is Rob and he was very nice. I have deep / invisible veins and sometimes it takes many tries. He was really good and managed to take the blood on the first try. I was pleased with the service provided. It is a shame that I will now need to wait up to a week according to him to hear about the results.
