"Prima Donna Doctor!"

About: Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust

Went to Eye A&E with horrendous eye pain (having suffered for over 4 weeks).

Doctor made me feel like my pain was in my imagination and offered nothing in the form of any relief!

Throughout the entire consultation she looked at the clock behind clearly agitated and verging on having an aggressive demeanour!

When I questioned her diagnosis and tried to explain which eye drops had helped this condition in the past she made me feel like a drug addict asking for an illegal drug for recreational use!!!

I’ve never been so offended in my life!

A simple explanation of why they may not have been appropriate on this occasion would have been suffice!

Such an awful intimidating experience that is so frequently experienced within the NHS!!
