I was admitted to post natal word post c-section. I myself am a staff nurse therefore I know the strain the nhs is under. However I felt I was avoided because I was a nurse.
At visiting time I stood up and bled through my nightwear. I asked my mum to ask the hca for maternity pads and a gown. The hca came back with a gown and 1 pad and said that’s all the pads that were left in the ward. So was I just to bleed everywhere? I had to send my visitors to the shops for pads.
And do you believe there is girls having miscarriages in the ward would be told there no pads. I was shocked and disgraced by this person’s attitude.
"I had to send my visitors to the shops"
