"Just discharged after a year of care ."

I have just been discharged from your hospital under the care of your Orthopaedic Team for a year. In may 2018 I broke my femur and needed another hip replacement, I was treated in A and E very efficiently, transferred to Aldham ward , so well looked after with kindness and care by all the staff. I was told by my surgeon and his team exactly what I faced with my operation .

Which was successfully carried out . I was so well looked after by all aspects of staff ,kept relatively pain free,,,,,,so important.

My recovery has been long ,but with the fantastic support of your Physiotherapist and Pilates ,keeping me on my feet with exercises and encouragement. I must also add a big thank you to all your staff in out patients department I had help both on the phone and in person . I know the NHS comes under some bad press , but I feel I must say such a big big thank you to all your team at Colchester Hospital .
