I had stepped on something I had no idea what but I knew it was stuck in my foot. I went to Skegness hospital first last week and they referred me to the fracture clinic at pilgrim Boston on the Monday. I went on my own, had an ultrasound and told yes I had foreign body in my foot. From the staff at fracture clinic who were lovely and kind, to the pathology and ultrasound, everyone was so caring. I then went to orthopaedics and met my anaesthetist who calmed any fears I had about the operation. Every member of staff was lovely. I cannot fault any one. The after care was amazing. I've never had to stay on a ward....I'm usually a visitor! So the whole experience was new and I want to thank each and every member. Jane and Vicky thank you. You'll know who I am, I thought it was dried chicken from a dog chew....it wasn't, it was glass! THANK YOU XXX
