About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Day Surgery Queen Margaret Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as the patient),

Referred to orthopaedic consultant following knee injury and pain.

Consultant explained what I had injured and how to remedy the pain and what my options were. 

Admitted to hospital within 6 weeks and operation done with excellent treatment of myself. I was kept up to date and informed at every stage of my treatment. I would like to thank everyone at the day surgery ward at Dunfermline Queen Margaret Hospital for all their excellent care, kindness and excellent professional treatment of myself before, during and after my operation. 

Everyone I encountered within the day surgery ward are a credit to the Scottish NHS.
