"Excellent cardiology care."

Last week, I needed to have a heart monitor implanted in my chest and I want to say Thank You to Claudia, who was delightful, took time to explain the procedure, allay my concerns and carried out the procedure gently, quickly, painlessly and successfully.

She was ably assisted by Sharon and between them, they made it the least distressing procedure I have ever had.

It makes Such a difference when one is treated as a person and when someone takes the time to explain what is going to happen and Listens to your queries.

Claudia's other great skill is that she managed to give me - someone who blacks out regularly at the sight of a needle - an anaesthetic, without me even feeling it.

She was excellent on the day and has since been approachable and helpful, when I needed to call with a query. 

I have been at the cardiology unit several times in the last year and I would like to thank everyone, from making appointments to carrying out tests/procedures, for being so friendly, efficient and helpful. Thank you.

Dear Sylvia,thank you for your response. I am delighted you passed on my sentiments to the people involved. Good people should receive plaudits.

I had previously heard some negative comments about Raigmore, but I can say that in All the departments I have had to visit in the last few years, I have been treated with respect. Equally importantly, from the moment I have walked through whichever zone door, people have been helpful and friendly.

Claudia, however, was exceptional and deserves special mention.
